This is my mom recipe, it is been in our home forever. She used to bake a great deal, not so much now. As matter of fact, she was in charge of dessert at Thanksgiving, but we did not get any. Since we love her to pieces we overlooked the small detail. Frankly, who needs dessert after such rich meal!
So here is the recipe has she wrote:
Beat 3 eggs
3 tablespoons milk
2 cups sugar ( I use 1½ cup and its fine)
4 tablespoons flour
½ teaspoon nutmeg
Mix in 4 cups cut rhubarb
1 tablespoon butter, cut over top
Pour into pastry shell, make lattice top ( I never do) bake at 400° for 50-60 minutes. Delicious…..

Adriana!! This is gorgeous – both the dish and your blog! Have been dying to get a hold of some rhubarb here but in the meantime I will have to rely on beautiful pictures like yours to satisfy my craving :)
